This question is one that every human being admittedly or not ask's themselves within their own consciousness one time or another during the course of their lifetimes.
Some think with their intellect only which leads to the dirt nap theory that there is no such place in which to live on after the natural body dies. However there are also many among us who know differently that within ourselves exist's a spirit that has been created for immortality. That's correct immortality without end. And there does exist a place outside this present realm where we all will go to and be judged by our creator about what we did down here during our lifespans.
Surely to live for seventy years and conclude that we just turn into dust without ever exhibiting any life afterwards is plain ignorance. I fully understand that many exist with viewpoints that are really intellectually challenging as they usually ask for something to verify the existence of such a realm, that cannot be seen with the natural eye or be touched by the human hand, but because we cannot by any of our senses manifest this place doesn't prove that it doesn't exist.
Faith is the vehicle in which one can prove to one'self that there is a eternity waiting out there for all mankind one day. Those who have passed already would certainly if able confirm this to all of us here, but then if they were able to do that there would be no need to use the vehicle of faith.
And faith is the substance that God Himself has given to all of us in order for us to experience this belief, with the assurance that after this body is laided to rest that our spirit's will continue to live either with God or without Him. It is my opinion that each of us have nothing to lose by believing that such a place exists rather than believe that we are destined to a dirt nap and nothing else. For those of you who would take issue on this go right ahead, this forum should be no exception as thousands of other forums also have this same discussion taking place.
Remember you really have nothing to lose, but if you don't believe you have everything to lose.
